Dee Mak Mookata was an authentic Thai BBQ & steamboat. Place the lard on the base to melt first, then smear with butter, followed by the food to enhance flavour. The steamboat pan was extremely shallow, compared to the typical pot which had a deeper base. I was somewhat paranoid if the half-submerged food in the soup would cook properly.
