Ocean Restaurant by Cat Cora at Resort World Sentosa (RWS) was a romantic, classy fine dining restaurant with a splendorous dazzling aquarium. Indulging in the pleasure of fishes swimming close to the glass tank while dining was a gastronomic adventure. The fabulous food had a miserable small serving that it was tough to say that the food was not tasty.

Dee Mak Mookata was an authentic Thai BBQ & steamboat. Place the lard on the base to melt first, then smear with butter, followed by the food to enhance flavour. The steamboat pan was extremely shallow, compared to the typical pot which had a deeper base. I was somewhat paranoid if the half-submerged food in the soup would cook properly.

Shu Jiang Grilled Fish Restaurant | 蜀江烤魚 had a classy interior and an aquarium as part of the decoration. Shu Jiang’s concept was to dine in an underwater environment and hence the birth of such a restaurant in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) where the diners can enjoy the mesmerising view of marine creatures while savouring the dishes.

If I see Xin Wang Hong Kong Café anywhere I go, it will mostly be my first choice. The prices are higher than food in hawker centres, yet lower than the cost of going to most restaurants. I have tried a lot of their dishes from local to western food, and it will remain as one of my favourite eateries.
